I’ve been waiting such a long time to do this cover. Since the series started, as a matter of fact. Some of you have been guessing that this would happen, and you were right! I’m excited.
See, we’re approaching the end of the story, and all the things I’ve been holding back…well, I won’t have to hold them back anymore. So strap in and hang on!
You know, of course, that I bought an old house in December that needs a lot of work. Still needs a new roof, as a matter of fact. All these repairs require money! That’s how life works, after all. As such, I’m offering original artwork for sale. This cover, for example.
I’ll mail you the original 11″x17″ inkwash on bristol board, a full-color, full-bleed 11″x17″ print that looks just like what you see above, but without the logo and such. I will also throw in some other fun stuff I’ve got laying around! It’ll set you back $150 plus shipping. Send me an email! I’ll hook you up.
Any other pages here strike your fancy, I’ll give you the same deal. Now is a good time to buy up original Locus artwork! I’ve had a couple collectors take some pages off my hands already. It’s turning into a regular occurrence, so if you have a favorite page now’s the time to snag it before someone else does!
I’m also doing private commissions for the same price, with a twist: I’ll draw you and one other person (a spouse, sibling, child, whatever) as characters in my comic. I’ll draw up one comic book page with you and your friend in it, with dialogue and everything. I’m almost done with the one I’ve been working on; I’ll show it to you when it’s finished so you can see what I’m talking about.
Stop by Wednesday for the inside front cover, and then on Friday we’ll start off with page one. You guys are going to like this issue. Old friends, new answers, and a big fucking fight scene.
